Youth Football School

Youth Football School

After great success in 2017 we are proud to announce that Football School will be returning for 2018!

With the 2018 season football registration opening in the coming weeks, we are pleased to confirm that Hornsby RSL Football School will  return in the New Year with the following 3 terms confirmed.

Term 1 – 7 weeks – Start date 23rd Feb 2018
Term 2 – 10 weeks – Start date 4th May 2008
Term 3 – 10 weeks – Start date 27th July 2018

That’s an amazing 27 weeks of football development, with training provided by the Northern Suburbs Football Association XLR8 coaching team.

The good news is that the program is again subsidised.

·         Under 6s (born 2012, 2013) and Under 7s (born 2011) participation will be free.

·         For all other age groups the cost is $100 per term.

Football School basic information

The football school is offered to registered players of HRSL FC only.  This means that to attend the football school you first must register as a HRSL FC player in myfootballclub (when registration opens Jan 2018). When you register with the club, you are registering for your child to play and participate in football throughout the winter sports season.
Once registered you will be sent a link for you to subscribe your child to the football school. The subscription and payment of football school fees (where relevant) for the 2018 season will follow an online registration process.

Football school offers a second night of training to HRSL FC players.   The football school sessions will be run by the Northern Suburbs Football Association.  The sessions will be executed by fully accredited coaches and the focus will be upon the key phases of the Football Federation Australia National Curriculum.

Training Times

The football school will run on a Friday evening between 4:45pm and 7:30pm.
Start times for each age group will be determined when attendee numbers are confirmed.

Training Location

The football school will be held at Mills Park, Baldwin Avenue, Asquith.  Mills Park is the home ground for Hornsby RSL Football club.
In the 2018 season the football school at Mills Park is exclusive to HRSLFC only.
